> Muriatic acid is low concentration Sulfuric acid... NO NO NO! Muriatic acid is an alternate (old-fashioned) name for HYDROCHLORIC acid. Suphuric acid's old name is vitriolic acid. Both are nasty. The name technically has nothing to do with the concentration, although these days it does tend to be used that way. David Lieb |
