In England, the Cheshire County Coucil has begun posting traffic signs in Polish, as well as English. Insisting that it was not out of political correctness, Steve Kent, the Council's highway engineer, said, "On several occasions last year, we found Polish-speaking drivers were failing to understand diversion signs ..." http://tinyurl.com/2zsbcy Are you prepared for this kind of driving in England, Frank? (Under the same reasoning, California would need traffic signs in 16 different languages!) Buster Evans |
