I think that the very fact that the only badge you possess came in a box
speaks for itself. Yours did not come *on* a Sprite, but rather in a box from
a shelf. However, the contention that your "theory can not be disproved
without viewing every Bugeye as it left when new or a definitive writing by a
worker that was there when they were new and being built," is seriously flawed
and opposite of that required by logic, for you are demanding that opponents
disprove your *assertion* by parading all of the vehicles, when all you have
to do improve is that one came from the factory with a chrome badge. As Jay
pointed out, all available evidence demonstrates the badges attached to the
vehicles when they left the factory were gold in color, and no evidence has
been presented to the contrary. No one is doubting that there may have been
chrome ones produced for aftermarket sales.
