Let me guess, they switched it? ;^)
I have actually seen quite a few early ones with later windshields. I bet
that it was pretty common as the two stud is the later one and most people
probably wanted the newer one that was more available instead of trying to
fix their old one. Might have even been the case when they were nearly new.
