You are very close to being correct.  True, the owner of Truman's
retired, but, he sold the business to one or more of his employees, and
the business became TIP (somewhere, I've got one of their old catalogs,
which details the history of the company).  I've visited their store
many times, over the years.  The current store & location was originally
Truman's, and is now TIP.  Due to reasons no one at TIP seems to be
willing or able to discuss, they don't want to have anything to do with
pressure blasters, or replacement parts for the pressure blasters they
used to sell only a few years ago.  As I said in an earlier post; I've
had very good results from Truman's and TIP Tools.  Nice folks and very
professional.
It's kind of a pain having to buy my sand-blaster stuff from a different
outfit, now, although Brut Manufacturing seems to give me good service
and reasonable prices.
