i believe glass / silica dust is the cause of what i think was told ,
"silicosis". your body can eject / evict some if inhaled particulate
matter. but not all of it! same with catalised paints! i know a retired
(on medical retirement!) mack trucks painter who was not told what to do
when they changed from enamel to catalised enamel paints and had to
literally have his lungs "scraped" to restore as much of his breathing as
possible! he kinda wheezes a bit and gets tired kinda easy too! long term
effects of some of what hobbyists use could be rather unplesant! i hate
to think of all those years i did clutch & brake jobs by grabbing the air
chuck and blowing the dust off evrything before disassembly! *sigh*
chuck.
might be part of my asthma problems!
just be carefull guys! i expect ta see ya all grow old! (well older that
ya are now! ok?) ;)
