Well, as you know, there are many accents in Blighty, and so too are
their many traditions. Our family is from West Hartlepool (we'll have
no remarks about "hanging the monkey"), and to this day the family
serves English pancakes with butter. Also, until the early 20th
century, the town was in Yorkshire and the family has always served the
Yorkshire pud before the Sunday roast and potatos. I know that today
friends in Wiltshire and East Anglia follow the same traditions.
