First car was a 1929 Ford Model A that never ran, but we had fun "working"
on it. I was 9 years old.
Sold the Model A when I was 15 and bought a 1957 Chevy 4 dorr sedan...primer
coat grey, 6 cylinder, Hurst Mystery shifter (the mystery was where to find
2nd gear). I beat the hell out ot that car.
I traded it for a Riley 1.5, and my love affair with LBCs began.
