A friend of mine runs a body shop. They hired three Mexicans. If you try
to carry something to the dumpster, they stop you, take it from you and
hustle it out to the dumpster. When business slowed a little (no sanding to
be done) they had the Mexicans doing odd labor around the shop. The old man
pointed and told them to go take care of some weeds on the back of the
property. They headed off empty handed on a mission. He had to stop them
and tell them to use the weed eaters. They were going to pull the weeds by
hand. There were alot of weeds. When I complimented them on their hard
work they told me that this wasn't hard compared to where they came from.
They worked about a week before they got their paperwork straight. The boss
told them don't come back on Monday without their paperwork. When Monday
came they all had the proper documentation. God bless them if they work
hard and obey the law and pay taxes.
Bums and beggars should be taken to a local church or to Rosie O'Ds for some
assistance. I know if you show up at my church and are in need, you will be
helped. Those found to be begging or bumming that have means should be
deported. We should lock down the borders and let one Mexican in for each
bum we deport. That Mexican then has a few months to become a citizen and
start contributing to society and paying taxes. He/she should then be
entitled to sponsor other immigrants.
Those that see this as the land of opportunity should be welcome. Those
that see it as a free ride should be flogged.
