I started work in 1978.  My in. was paid but I had to ay for my wife.  The 
big thing was that the premium just went up from $27/mo. to $50.  When I 
left that co. 5 yrs ago it was up to $200.

In 28 yrs my slar went up by a factor of 6, ins. went up by a factor of 20.
