Me??? Well Hal, thanks for asking!

Were it up to me, I'd evacuate all the civilians to the extent reasonably 
possible and dump it on the present governments of Syria and Iran, "political 
correctness" and "moral high ground" notwithstanding.

But seriously, I guess we'll have to ask the
French about this. They seem to have those most expert and most knowledgeable 
in this field thus far. :)
