Well. it's over.another SOS in the books.
Attendance at the Dream Farm was excellent.between 15 to 20 folks each day.
We got a lot done. Mickey, the BABE rallye car gave up it's bits to be ready
with it's date with the crusher. Next year you can probably buy a few lbs of
it as a Chinese made vise at Harbor Freight.
Tutone's MKIII Sprite got it's 1098 extracted, and new 1275 implanted.
Kris Larsen's new chea. I mean, race car has taken residence in the Thicko
shop. Freshly painted in marshmallow white, front & rear suspension was
hung. Much of the threaded holes needed tapping due to the new paint. The
color of the car led us to give Kris his long awaited Thicko nickname. "the
Stay-Puff Man".
Bud Pazur's "Silver" race car got some final attention from its recent
"de-cheater" transplants. New brake lines, and other goods were sorted out.
Larry "Barbaro" Daniels braved his cast engulfed, freshly screwed & glued
Achilles tendon, and along with spouse/chauffer Carrie, came by for lunch
(and bought lunch).
Mike Gigante, in the US on biz kept his hands in lots of things.
The Striking Viking produced a great breakfast both days.
Numerous folks dropped in to view the festivities via the Floundervision
cam.
Go karts got ridden both days, and nobody died.
It was fun. Thanks to all that attended or viewed.
