If more oil smoke on de-celleration, then it might be the guides? Yes - no? I built a Camaro engine years and years ago - a 327. It had valve guide oil issues and as I recall (it was a good while ago) it would smoke coming down this long hill in Concord CA called Kirker Pass road. By the time I hit the bottom of the long descent I had polluted a good portion of Northern California. Kirk  |
