I have a set of 1.5" SU carbs on the 1275. The throttle cable and choke
cable attach to the carbs with a pin that has a hole for the cable and a nut
that pinches the cable against the carb linkage. Whether it's correct or
not I don't know but that's what I have. Once tightened the darn things are
almost impossible to remove because the cable gets crimped and the nut and
pin are so soft the heads twist off. Can anyone offer a better method of
securing the cables so they don't slip?
