Some years back while I was living on Taylor Street, Chicago's traditional 
Italian thoroughfare, my New Jersey native college roommate came to visit. On a 
bleary morning after we went next door to a neighborhood deli. Wayne got into 
a 'Who's on first' routine trying to order a coffee -

"I'll have a regular coffee."
"We only have large and small."
"I just want a regular."
"But we only have large and small."
"But..."

Thankfully none of my friends from Boston never came here and wanted a 
frappe...
