I flattened out the Miata mounting brackets (they have some bends and angles
to line up with the Miata floor pan). Then I filled the old holes in the
Spridget floor pan, fitted the new seats and marked where the new holes would
be. Then simply frilled the holes and refitted the seats. My seats came with
the slider mechanism, so they do move forward and back. But I have the
driver's seat all the way back on the slider. And I'm still looking for more
"arm room".
