Cooling Fan ??

I have a 1971 Midget with a 1098 in it. Other than the engine was in the car
with 500 miles on it when I got it. And besides I have been really happy
with it. I have not had any overheating issues, but the car has the
crossflow cooling system, and the 1098 has the little cross blade fan. 

 

Will the 6 bladed plastic fan from the cross flow system for the 1275 fit on
a 1098 engine?

 

The 6 bladed fan should provide better air flow, should it?
