Yeah, that's what we suspect happened. There are a lot of idiots out
there, but it would be hard to imagine anyone being stupid enough to cut
up a Midget as clean as this one must have been.
My bargaining position was aided by the guy's dread of lifting it off
the trailer.... I had four of my Triumph buddies there (when I
mentioned half a car body, they were thinking "Triumph", and figured it
had to be heavy), and my truck backed into position, before he could
change his mind.
Re: lbc love seat.......Ummm, no, I don't think so. The little wife,
while being quite tolerant, is NOT a car babe. No, that back half will
yield many good parts, for a future restoration, or two.

Rather than use on your race car, I would suggest that you consider
installing a set of seats, pretty-up the back half and you have a pretty
neat lbc sofa/love-seat.
