The state inspector dude called out of the blue on Saturday. I wasn't
expecting a call til Monday, as we set this up as a potential day for the
inspection of my Sprite. I had to leave him a message, I returned his call
only minutes after he called me (couldn't get to my phone fast enough), and
left a message, he wants to do the inspection Monday if I'm ready. I did just
a few last-minute items and am going for the inspection. Carbs will have to
stay as-is for right now, I had to get the air cleaners on it. I received my
seat belts on Friday, but they forgot the adjuster for the shoulder harness. I
put the sill and tranny tunnel brackets on, so I'll have lap belts for now.
Not required for the inspection (not originally equipped), but feel better
having them in. Looking forward to driving to the shop for the inspection,
nice having it "off the leash" and drive it somewhere other than in circles.
