So I'm putting new pistons in a 1275, and I get just the #1 in, nd I rotate the crank just a little - back and forth. There is a metal to metal click coming from the rod bearing. There is visible side to side slop (maybe as much as 1/32) when I push laterally on the bottom of the rod. This can't be right, can it? Do I perhaps have incorrect rod bearings? Any other ideas?
