Phil,

I had the same floor pan problem on my BE.  I made a filler out of 
aluminum that fit in the curved depression.  I used longer bolts to 
mount the pedals and made "beveled" spacers for the nuts on the bottom 
side.  I love the floor mounted pedal.  If you need measurement to drill 
holes in the floor I'd be happy to send them to you.

Are you running a 948 with a 1 1/2" carbs.  Am I incorrect in thinking 
these are too big??  Seems like a lot, but I'm usually wrong about these 
things.
