No, I think I have everything that will be needed. Particularly the
beer, food, soft drinks, and as many places to sleep as we can find
here, there, and everywhere around the house.
Tools: I have most of the run-of-the-mill tools, including compressor.
I don't have any specialized tools to locate the clutch, bleed the
lines, balance the carbs.

The car has been stripped of literally everything except the rear end
wheels, axle, and suspension. It is in the paint shop and although I
hoped that it would be done before I leave for England in May, he has
not even touched it. So, he has promised that it will be ready to pick
up when I get back the first week in June.

A genUwine original owner 1960 Bugeye/Frogeye Sprite.

The original 948 with .10 off the head and bored out .20 that was
running fine when it was put away several years ago. Smoothcase
transmission, although I hope to get a ribcase.

Yes, it really does truly exist.

No driveway. We have an alley behind the house, and a friendly
dentist's parking lot on the other side of it.
I will be going over to England in May and will be picking up as many
NOS parts at the vast Beaulieu autojumble, and then the rest from AH
Spares. I have a shopping list of 181 items, from grommets and gaskets
to upholstery and carpets.
We are a mile due west of Disneyland, and can watch the fireworks from
our pool and spa in a "tropical" setting. Got aches and pains from the
flight or drive? Soothe them in the sauna. We have a well-stocked
larder for the steak and potato crowd, but nothing gourmand. For those
who want to stay with us, we have a guest room with full and twin beds,
Pam's workroom with inflatable mattress (maybe I should rephrase that),
a book room with queen size mattresses, and a fold-out sofa bed in the
living room. We will be able to pick up and drop off folks to any of
the local airports. We will also have our two VW Vanagons to folks to
use. Any and all are more than welcome to arrive early, or stay later
to enjoy the sights of Southern California.
If in the future folks want to have more frequent OSHIT events in the
Wild, Wild West, our home is always available! Playing host to guests,
be it from around the U.S. or around the world, has always been one of
the pleasures of our life!
