I was reading about inner tubes on the web to see if I could find any info about the suitability of using inner tubes for farm implements on automobiles. I'm wondering if the variables of load & speed make a difference. I found some stuff on an EXXON site. Seems one butyl rubber compound is used in inner tubes, but also is used in chewing gum. Who'd a thought?? I'll bet you could get alot of chews out of that old tube in the garage!! Tim Collins Midland, MI 1966 AH Sprite |
