Rick, I am in the process of doing this too. I have the spherical
joints and determined that they are from an early style sway bar
(Aren't they anti-sway bars?). To that end, I fabricated two new
mounting brackets from the half inch square picture I found in one
of the books. Since I've never seenthe real ones it looks fine to me.
The good news is that Chuck sent me, IIRC it was Chuck, the proper
brackets for the later style spherical joints. I won't need 'em.
You pay postage and they are yours. Sandblasted, zinc primed.
painted black. you will have to fab a set of backing plates as I am
about to punch a few more holes in the ones I made and use them.
