When you think about it,you really have to ask yourself just what is the goal.In this case, it is to arrive at a point where the fuel is showing slightly below the top of the jet.How you do this is up to you. If everything is new an up to specs, the old drill rod method works. I have just fiddled with it to arrive at a point where I can see the fuel level just below the top of the jet. This is with the dome and piston and needle assembly removed. I just looked through my notes and I thought I had a magic distance but can not find it right now. Anyone have an idea? 1/32 maybe?
