Hi folks,
Sorry for the delay in responding, I have been out of town and or
away from the house.
Anyway as you may already have found out the bolt goes in from the
top. On my car it take a little jiggling around to get the bolt to
drop through. It sometimes helps to lift the top slightly to get the
bolt to drop through.
As for securing I prefer to do the wing nuts first while looking
across the top of the rear deck from the inside till I see the hard
top seal just making contact across the deck. Then do the windshield
clips. do a visual recheck of the seal on the rear deck and if needed
tighten the wing nuts a little more. It is a bit of a balancing act
since you do not want to put to much pressure on either the
windshield or the rear deck.
Hope this helps.
