Dude. I live in IL nearly 50 years.
While I'm not a great fan of organized professional or collegiate team
sports, I have admitted to being a Bears fan, despite having done business
with the Bears and McCaskey family twice in my life, and finding the
statement that George Halas threw nickels around like they were manhole
covers.
Other than the Forest Greg years, I've always wished the Packers well. I'm
kind of disgusted the way they turned on Brett Favre this year (and fired
their coach).

I also lived in Illinois (about 30 miles from Flounder) and moved to
Cheeseland in the very late 60's. This was right after the Pack's great
years under Lombardi.
When I got here, Vince Lombardi left the Packers and they went into a long
spell of really sucking. After a couple of decades, they finally got to be
a decent team again. Went to the Super Bowl twice and won once.
Last year Flounder moves up here (this time about 15 miles away) and the
Packers immediately had one of the worst years in franchise history. I'm
thinking we can make some pretty good cash extorting these rabid Packers
fans by threatening to send for more of our friends from Illinois.
