I'm posting this question on behalf of friend who is not into 'puters. I
checked the archieves but did not find an answer.
He is rebuilding 1098 motor in his Bugeye. Has early rib-case tranny. He
wants to replace clutch disc only. VB offers only full kit (for $200!),
and Mo$$ wants $85 for disc alone. He is certified member of "we-tight"
club so he is looking for other options. Local Kragen does not carry
clutch disc for early Sprites/Midgets. Any suggestions?
Also, I have new unused clutch disc for 1275 which I could give him but
will this work? 1275 clutch is 6 1/2" and 1098 clutch is 7 1/4", but I
am wondering if it might work anyways.
