Thanks Bob. A little Googling on the name Donald Pikovnik got me to the Coloramic Process, Inc. website where Mr. Pikovnik's book is described in detail. They say that Mr. Pikovnik's book is out of print and there are no plans to produce more. The website also includes a chart with all of the colors used throughout Austin-Healey production for both the big Healeys and Sprites. The chart includes the factory color name and code as well as the corresponding ICI code. Cool! The following link will get anyone interested to the Austin-Healey Color List - http://www.coloramic.com/articles/hlyclrs.htm Rick ----- Original Message ----- From "Bob Kitterer" <bkitterer at mac.com> To: "Spridgets" <Spridgets@autox.team.net> Sent: Tuesday, December 27, 2005 6:31 PM Subject: Re: Paint > On Dec 27, 2005, at 2:15 PM, Rick Fisk wrote: > >> I'm looking for a modern code for Deep Pink because I'm being lazy. > > Try paint code ICI 3481. > > Bob Kitterer > > 1960 Sprite (Mk IV in disguise) > 1966 Sprite Mk III (Trevor, in boxes) > 2000 Miata Special Edition |
