OK - I think I lucked out and found a Datsun 210 tranny. It was on a back shelf in the last of many junkyards I visited. "60" on the side of the case in about 1" high letters, and a S/N FA 9Z16590 on the top of the housing, with the FA much larger than the 9Z16590. There was no gearshift lever, but by using a couple of screwdrivers and turning the main shaft it appears to have 5 speeds. Visually it matches the pictures on Rivergates website. The throwout bearing and yoke were still attached/mounted. Any suggestions on fabricating a gearshift lever? I'm pretty sure I can't find one locally.
