I understand your point but I wouldn't expect an Austin-Healey Club to
publish an article on a 70's MG, but on the other hand the only way you
could test that would be to write and submit an article and see if it
would be published.
If allowed, Reid should do some good things for Healey Marque. When he
was editor Austin-Healey Magazine, he truly made it a worthwhile
publication as it regularly included historical articles and period ads
and period photos. Hopefully it does not suffer in his absence.
In reality, Big Healeys are very different cars from Spridgets and only
a minor number of people appreciate or have an interest in both. This is
not meant as a bash towards Big Healey owners in any way, but most Big
Healey owners see Sprites as a junior Healey, a car that someone
purchased because they couldn't yet afford a more substantial sports
car. We know different and to shout the positive aspects of Spridgets
back and forth here would be preaching to the choir.
PS I'm not expecting any articles on Innocenti Spyders in Healey Marque
either. :-)
