The first two trips I made from NY to the west coast all I carried was a rock for the fuel pump and a set of points. Granted, the car was nearly new then, but she was still a Spridget and made the round trip with no problems. On my next trip, she already had the Datsun fuel pump and purred the whole way. At my age, it would be nice to have company, but I'm still willing to drive her as she was meant to be driven. That means back roads, avoiding the Interstates whenever possible. Kate |
