I have some eBay experience with over 700 transactions mostly from selling at
100% Pos feedback. The Private thing is something that eBay provides for
sellers who want to run incognito - and I do not know what the legal
ramifications are that causes eBay to make this an option for sellers.
Personally, I stay away from "Private Sellers." I will usually be able to
find the item from another seller with a solid feedback rating and who is not
afraid to be public regarding his name and transactions.
