Hi Jac,
That is interesting.  When I was working, about 10 years ago, I had  
combinations of both platforms, a smaller number than you, but the  
WinTel machines were a constant problem and the Mac's rarely went  
down plus we were able to use them for at least five years vs 18  
months tops for the WinTel's.  There were a couple of Mac OS 8  
releases that were very unstable but that was only for a short period  
of time.  Through OS 9 I would occasional get a lockup but restarting  
the machine cured the problem.  Of course as Murphy would have it  
that would occur at the most inopportune time.  OS X seems  
exceptionally stable.  I have a Window XP machine but avoid using it  
because it is such a pain by comparison, but I am more accustom to  
the MAC interface.
