With the Drag Sprite finally making it's way down the track, it needs a front end to complete the body. The original plan was to have a rotary in it, but the engine cooked, and a SBC found it's way into the body in it's place. This involved stretching the nose 19" to get things just so. This winter, Dave is going to set back some funds to get a custom nose, with an additional 19" going back to the cowl made. Spridgetech is saying they can do it. Do any of you know anything about their work, or want to recommend another company? TIA, Brad btw, it is doing 6.70 through the 1/8th mile, at 99.4 mph |
