Just a random thought, Dick... Is the alternator indicator bulb "good" and/or hooked into the system? Are you sure? I ask because a sure sign of an unproductive alternator (bad diode) is a lit alternator indicator (bulb) when the motor is running. If the bulb is no good, it can't light, etc. Cap'n Bob Basic Frog |
