Understood, John.... thanx for the technical link as well. It IS unbelievable that Michelin would get it wrong, isn't it. But as I understand it, the surface had been recently "shaved" to make for less bumpiness and the new surface's "finish" was a problem for the Michelin compound, as opposed to the Bridgestone compound?
