Yes, your car from the '60's can go 100k on a single set of plugs, just have
to buy platinum tip plugs & run pertronix. Nice thing is that you can
actually reach the plugs to change them.

Like I tell the customers, I don't design them! The newest Lincolns
and Mercurys are actually Mazdas and Volvos underneath.
In defense of newer cars, you can't drive any 1965 car for 100,000
miles without changing sparkplugs.
