Robert The brown wires (large and small) go to the terminal where the battery cable goes. Look close at the solenoid. You will see a seperate terminal. It is NOT the one under the battery cable post. The red/white wire goes there. red/white is the crank it over wire, brown is all hot/battery. Worse case if it's backwards is it will not crank over.
