Ah! But it's pasturized, dear fellow. Pasturized! In order to come to yankee land and by FDA ruling, they have to pasturize it which kills the yeast and denegrates the true flavor. Nothing English you can buy in this country tastes quite the same - that's why I have been a home brewer for nearly 35 years!
