A Honk That's Fit for a Hummer
That's the title of a story in the Wall Street Journal today that deals
with LOUD air horns - it's the latest trend in car customization. Horns
range from the small, plastic Hella ones to $3000 train horns that require
an on board air compressor. One paragraph of note (and LBC content):
Whit Vancott, of Hollywood, Fla. bought a small horn for his wife's 1975
Midget, a tiny British two-seater. "Its basically a preventative measure,"
he says. Little cars like his wife's Midget may be overlooked by drivers of
today's ever-bigger SUV's, he says.
