Agreed, before they sold engine stop leak, this is what we used to use to
try to keep oil from leaking out of engines. I think engine stop leak is just
rebadged brake fluid that didn't meet factory spec and are "marketing" this
as an engine additive so they can charge more for it. ;o)
If the quantity is small (i.e. less than a pint.), then it should not be a
problem. It will be more volatile than regular oil, so your PCV system will
eventually suck it out as it evaporates out of the rest of the engine oil.
