Darn it! I have sworn a mighty oath never to buy another automatic. Also
never to buy another car with wire wheels. I was hoping the guy had a
4-speed Muncie in there... of course, the TH400 isn't bad for an automatic.
and a 4.11 posi with a Holley double-pumper! I don't know if I could afford
to drive it home with today's prices at the pump. Why do these hot-rodders
keep putting double-pumpers on cars where the vacuum secondary is so much
easier to tune and makes far more of a difference to the MPG than the d-p
does to the HP? I know, I know, "cuz that's what the racers run and them
guys KNOW what makes HP". Grumble grumble grumble. Starting to sound like
Special ED again
