Hi
Ive found some success by having my wife stand on the brake peddal. This
seems to hold the cylinder tight against the backing plate most of the
time. Then I can remount the cir-clip with less struggle.

These cir clips are very wide. Is that the problem? Can you buy smaller
( not as wide body ) some place to replace what comes with the brake
cylinder?
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated. Or if you just get a few

thats OK too. At least I have vented a bit.
