It is snowing in NJ and my old (circa 1970's) snowblower would not run at a 
steady speed.  I figured that the carb had never been rebuild and the points 
must be original so I decide to give it a tune up. 
The results were amazing!  The carb used to drip gas, now the carb leaks gas 
so bad it just streams out and I have have no spark. How many ways can you 
screw up in 2 hours.  I guess I will just use the shovel as always.  Time to 
open up the wine.  Maybe small engine repair is not my strong suit.
