I paid $500 for my rust-free California Bugeye.  Of course that was in 1968.
:-)  Just passed the 37th anniversary of the day I bought it.  I bought it
on a used car lot full of sports cars called "Sir Lances Lot".   Groan - lol

I watched the Barrett-Jackson auction on and off all weekend and I saw a
whole lot of auction fever.  The Bugeye was nice, but I'd like to see the
buyer get $25k for it tomorrow.
