I was running a normal flow 10" pusher and it was pretty worthless. Now I'm
running a higher flow (I think around 1350 CFM (expensive Stahl @ $150)) 10"
puller and it does the job. I have the gauge connected to the head (1275)
and a thermostat switch (thanks Peter C.)that triggers at 180 installed in
the radiator boss where the gauge connects for a 948. This setup keeps it
between 180 and 195 even in stopped traffic. Before, I could not drive it in
stop and go traffic. I can come up with the part number for the thermo
switch if you are interested.
