I understand the mechanics of the alternator conversion thanks to Frank C.
My problem is I can't locate a suitable alternator.
It seems I can get an AC Delco rebuild for about the same as a used unknown
part I would have checked out by a shop.
Can anyone suggest a particular unit. Some of the AC Delcos look a bit
smaller and 60 amps will be more than enough juice. Anyone have a Bosch or
Delco unit they can find a part # on? Thanks.
