Hi Brad, If you have a problem with the valve stem seemingly getting higher/longer and you have to keep backing off the adjusment and now it's all used up, I'm suspicious of the fitting of the valve seat in the head. It's possible that the seat was never pressed fully into the head and now when you run the engine, the valve drives the seat deeper into the machined recess. Will certainly be interesting to find out what's happenning when the head comes off and gets taken apart. Later, Paul A |
