Larry... This could very well be simply a faulty spark plug which misfires now and then. Had the same thing happen to me two weeks ago. Carbon particles between firing tip and side electrode...old plug! Shoulda changed them out sooner! My bad! Pull the plugs. What do they look like? Any obvious fouling going on with any of them? Ya' know, all anyone has to do is drop one off the shelf or something.. that's all it takes. Cap'n.
